A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words: How Can Any Christian be Comfortable in the Democratic Party?

Democrats

I don’t know who created the above graphic, but it speaks volumes about the racist history of the Democratic Party and its total disregard for the sanctity of human life. I am especially troubled and angered by black Americans who support Planned Parenthood and its genocidal agenda. I stand with those Americans like Alveda King and Pastor Hoye who are fighting abortion and sounding an alarm about cities like New York where the abortion rate for black babies has exceeded the birth rate. We have plenty of evidence about Planned Parenthood’s racist agenda.

In a widely quoted letter to Dr. Clarence J. Gamble, Margaret Sanger wrote, “[t]he most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.” Sanger lived long enough to see one of history’s greatest black leaders receive Planned Parenthood’s Margaret Sanger Award. On May 5, 1966, Martin Luther King, Jr. was given the award “for his courageous resistance to bigotry and his lifelong dedication to the advancement of social justice and human dignity.” King’s acceptance speech was reprinted by Planned Parenthood to advertise its services and praise Sanger. The organization encouraged black families to use family planning as a path to betterment.”

Be the People: A Call to Reclaim America’s Faith and Promise, p. 67. It is worth noting that Jesse Jackson, Sr. was pro-life early in his career with Jackson correctly acknowledging an abortion agenda that seemingly targeted black women. We have a moral obligation to remind people of the truth about Planned Parenthood and the history of the Democratic Party. We can also share with fellow Christians the numerous pro-life Scriptures and references in the Bible. This link provides a starting point for Christians.
