On September 18, 2015, 177 Democrats revealed the true character of their party and declared war on infants by voting no on a bill that would protect babies who survive an abortion and experience a live birth. The bill requires “any health care practitioner who is present when a child is born alive following an abortion or attempted abortion to: (1) exercise the same degree of care as reasonably provided to any other child born alive at the same gestational age, and (2) ensure that such child is immediately admitted to a hospital.”¹

Any infant that experiences a live birth and is breathing on his or her own is an American citizen even if the intent was for the child to be aborted.  All life outside the womb of anyone born in America is protected by the 14^th Amendment of the Constitution, but I guess 177 Democrats disagree with this. Carolyn Maloney (D) of New York stated, “This bill attempts to criminalize legal medical care and punish millions of women by rolling back reproductive choices. It wages a kind of guerrilla warfare against Roe v. Wade by threatening doctors with jail time for providing care to their patients.”2

Since when does “legal medical care” mean that a living, breathing infant has to be left to die? Just how is a woman punished when another human being is allowed to continue to live? The baby can be placed for adoption that would fulfil the dream of a couple desiring a child.  The birth mother would still be free of the responsibility of raising the child. She would have gained all she wished from an abortion.  Democrats don’t focus on this option; they choose death instead.  When abortion advocates are putting millions of dollars in your campaign coffers each election, Democrats must feel they must stand with them no matter how absurd things become.

Democrats claim Republicans wage a war on women because the GOP wants to limit abortions and not have birth control paid for by tax dollars. Democrats have declared war on infants, and in their war, human beings really do die.
