Who is Hillary Clinton?
A critic could argue that since Hillary Clinton has, essentially, already served two terms as president, she is therefore ineligible to run in 2016. If only that were true. As her husband Bill’s first lady of eight years, or his “co-president” as she might have you believe, complete with all the lies and deceptions foisted upon us, the truth is that Hillary has yet to hold the top job in Washington, D.C. It only seems that she has performed the job created by Article II of the U.S. Constitution, the one that President Barack Obama is turning into a banana republic dictatorship.
Hillary, for real, is the presumed Democratic presidential nominee for 2016, which means we all need to be asking the question: “Who exactly is Hillary Clinton?” We all know about her tenure as secretary of state, when she gave her testy “What difference does it make at this point?” response to Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) during the Benghazi hearing, which addressed the circumstances surrounding the deaths of Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans.
What mindset would she bring to the highest office in the land? The current head honcho shows no respect for the rule of law, and there is evidence that Hillary would do the same. These two peas in a pod believe that while they are entitled to the presidency, they do not hold themselves accountable to ethical standards or the American public they serve.
Take Hillary’s latest mess, for instance: She is presently embroiled in yet another controversy, this one self-inflicted and involving her use exclusively of a private, personal e-mail account instead of a mandated government account during her stint as secretary of state. It looks like Hillary willingly defied governmental rules regarding work email without anyone in her inner circle pointing out to her the error of her ways. Of course, that’s assuming anyone would have been bold enough to broach the subject with Hillary, who has been known to rip into subordinates.
Reportedly, she has permanently deleted about half of the 60,000-plus e-mails she sent during her state department tenure because, she insists, they dealt with personal matters such as daughter Chelsea’s wedding and planned vacations. But this is old hat for Hillary – monkey business as usual, dating back at least three decades, while her loyal supporters fawn over her, embracing her as America’s next great hope: Eleanor Roosevelt, Joan of Arc, and Superwoman all rolled up into one tidy package. As we all know so well, Bill and Hillary – or Billary, for short – have a colorful history of indiscretion going way back to Whitewater, continuing through the Monica Lewinsky scandal, when Bill so eloquently schooled us on the multiple meanings of the word “is,” and on up through to Benghazi.
About that infamous Monica thing, quoting Bill:
It depends on what the meaning of the word ‘is’ is. . .if ‘is’ means is and never has been, that is not–that is one thing. If it means there is none, that was a completely true statement….Now, if someone had asked me on that day, are you having any kind of sexual relations with Ms. Lewinsky, that is, asked me a question in the present tense, I would have said no. And it would have been completely true.”
You can’t make this stuff up: a sitting U.S. president sputtering and stammering out a lesson of semantics that craftily avoids the stain on the blue dress. We let Bill get away with it. We slapped him on the wrist and then sent him on his merry way. The question now is, are you going to just turn away and sit idly by as Hillary continues with her own acts of defiance and disregard?
Today’s important question “is” Who is Hillary Clinton? Is she the right person to clean up the growing mess that Barack Obama has created? Many of us remember Hillary Care from the Clinton years. That was her own failed attempt to create government-controlled health care, which means there is a snowball’s chance in hell of her, if elected, repealing Obamacare.
To get an even clearer portrait of who Hillary really is, we need to dig in and study her own words. For that we go to a Democratic debate in 2007, hosted by CNN, when she was thrown a softball question asking whether or not she was a liberal. In pure Clintonian style, Hillary replied that she didn’t like to think of herself as a liberal but as a modern progressive. The term sounds innocent enough; hey, we all like progress, but coming out of Hillary’s mouth, it begs a sinister translation. Modern progressivism can be traced back to presidents such as Woodrow Wilson and FDR. Both believed that individual rights were an unnecessary hindrance to the exercise of unlimited governmental power. Does that sound like anyone you know? Someone who knows his, or her, way around the White House?
As much as Hillary might bemoan the term ‘liberal’ being linked to big government, the reality is that she proudly stands with the fathers of big government and the know-it-all elites seeking to destroy the core of our nation while deleting our individual rights and liberties right off the liberal server.
Who is Hillary Clinton? She is a smarter, more-committed version of the current occupant of the White House. Be afraid; be very afraid.
