Professor Carol M. Swain’s Op-ed on Islam was the Tennessean’s Most Read in 2015

I am  pleased to announce that my op-ed, Charlie Hebdo attacks prove critics were right about Islam,” was the Tennessean’s most read op-ed in 2015. Of course, the newspaper is listing the top ten in reverse order.  The op-ed generated harassment that has waxed and waned for most of the year.  The most recent attack was a petition to suspend me from teaching which was met with a counter-petition to support free speech and academic freedom which garnered over 12,000 signatures.
