Is America Perishing Because of Weak Military Leadership?

In Be The People TV, International

“Where there is no vision, the people perish.” Nowhere is this better seen than in President Obama’s command of our U.S. military forces. Politics has replaced leadership. We are helplessly watching the decline of one of the finest fighting forces in the world.

The inexperience and lack of vision at the top has resulted in nonsensical goals and actions.  With his usual teleprompter eloquence, our commander in chief would have the American people believe that it is possible to reduce the strength of the military, escalate the fight against ISIS, send National Guard troops to the Mexican border, cut the military budget, and deploy 3,000 troops to West Africa to fight the deadly Ebola virus. As representative Marsha Blackburn said, “It doesn’t make sense. I agree. It doesn’t make sense. And it’s not fair.

Our military men and women don’t have a say in when, where and how they will be deployed. Building clinics and hospitals is a noble humanitarian goal, but those are tasks best performed by U.N. healthcare workers, not by highly skilled military personnel now forced to place themselves, their families and our nation at risk.
